Man vs. Woman. This is a relationship that has confused people from the beginning of time. They both come from the same source but are two completely different creatures with completely different purposes.
The relationship between man and woman is a powerful connection that was designed by God in the beginning of time. This is the most significant and important relationship designed on the earth. God made man and woman to intertwine with each other to perform the duties he placed for mankind to accomplish. The relationship between man and woman is the second greatest relationship behind the relationship between God and man/woman. Before we can understand the relationship between man and woman we must understand what a man is and his role and gifts in life and what a woman is and her role and gifts in life.
A man was designed by God to rule(have authority) over the earth. He is the leader, protector, provider, and guidance in the human race. A woman was designed by God to intervene(intercessor) to intercede on behalf of the man, to influence, to nurture, to conceive, and to balance the man. Both of these roles are just as important as the other, without both confusion will be inevitable.
This relationship and these roles of a man and woman are designed to be placed within the covering of marriage. Woman was designed for man to help him rule the earth efficiently together with the guidance of God.
One thing we need to understand is woman was made out of the man from his own rib, design out of and for the man personally. Also, man did not ask for woman, God gave man a suitable helper because He said man needed it. Man did not go looking for woman, God gave man, woman personally out of his own being.
The problem with our culture today, is we have to many man going out looking for their (rib)mate on their own. During this process of searching, they are trying on a lot of counterfeit ribs(woman). We are totally out of the will of God. God already designed a woman out of your own rib for you and man does not have to go looking for her, she will be brought to him as a gift from the Lord as we stay in His will.
This is why we have over half of all marriages end in divorce because their are too many people walking around with the wrong rib(mate). Because we try to control the process instead of allowing God to fulfill His already designed plan.
Because of this disobedience and personal control we desire of our own relationships, we go through numerous attempts of trial and error with different woman and man trying to figure out if this person was designed for me. This results in heartache, emotional damaging, unlawful sexual unions, and unfortunately undesigned offspring.
This union between man and woman goes deeper and holds more value than we realize. This union affects so many areas in life and we have been ignoring the proper procedures resulting in our misery in earthly love, fellowship, and marriage.
We need to get back into the will and kingdom of God and let him guide us and give us our wonderful gifts(woman) that he designed for us, from us, before the beginning of time. And woman need to stay in the covering of God and their earthly father until God presents her with the covering of a husband from which she came from. A woman's heart should be so deep into God that a man has to go to God to receive her heart.
Our culture's mindset has been so contorted that we do not understand what Love really is. We have placed Love in a category with a lot of emotions that has nothing to do with the real meaning. We confuse Love with lust, attraction, comfort, feelings, emotions, fear, friendship, and joy. Now some of these characteristics are results that come from true Love but they are not Love itself. To understand what Love is we have to understand who God is. Without knowing and having a relationship with God there is no possible way to know Love.
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:7-16)
God is the very essence of Love, he is and always will be Love and we can only find love through Him.
